I would describe a "great" day as any day that you have a breakthrough, where it be musical or lyrical. For me, it's more of a process that takes place inside my head. It probably wouldn't be very much fun to watch.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for high school students
Just practice all the time. Don't be afraid to fail. It's going to take awhile to find your own voice and there are gonna be some battles that you will lose. Just keep going. Do it because you love it.
