My path in life has been direct
1.
First if it wasn't for my brother's untimely death in 2001 I wouldn't be in pest control.
2.
Then I learned it's a great job and I LOVE being self employed.
3.
Then my father has been sick for over 10 years so I took the business over 3 years ago.
4.
And now I feel like I have career, love of my life, and animals that make me complete!!

THE NOISE
Messages from Parents:
I think my negative noise would be my parents. We don't have the best relationship mainly dealing with the business and my life partner. They didn't want me to earn my license and start making my own money without having to give them a piece of it. Stress.
How I responded:
I had to get selfish for one. I had to think about my future and what I wanted. I wanted to secure my career by getting my license. I had to find that inner me, determined, smart, ready to be a business owner. I stopped talking to my parents for over a year. Helped me find who I am without having them tell me what to do, which has been the 1st time in my life. That was empowering for me. I learned who I was and listened to that inner voice which I knew would never lead me in the wrong direction.
