My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Completed high school with three A's at A-levels.

Considered doing sociology at university, as I enjoyed learning about people.

Decided to do a degree in Music, as it is one of my passions.

Graduated from Bristol with a 2:1, with an outstanding contribution award.
5.
Went on a 3-month self-funded around the world trip.

Started my volunteering challenge and pursued a career in Digital Marketing.

Music isn't a very academic degree. You won't be able to get a good job after doing that.
How I responded:
Studying/playing music develops many skills, including your logic, problem-solving, creativity, organisation and time management. Studying Music also provides extra-curricular activities, which you can get involved in and are often valuable to future employers and when building your CV.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Although I have been lucky to have financial support from my parents, self-funding a trip this year has meant periods of financial instability. This has developed my budgeting skills and my creativity in thinking up ways to save money.
