Settled for a college major that I thought was what everyone expected.
3.
Limited myself for careers early on by staying in my hometown.
4.
Experienced some dirty jobs (like Mike Rowe) and managed some tough groups.
5.
Pretended to be a salesperson.
6.
Decided that computer technology and providing good service was an interesting path.
7.
Found a great company with a worthwhile mission (Hobsons).
Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Family:
You should go into banking. It's in your blood. You can't move to (name that city). I'm not living there.
How I responded:
Go where your passion leads you and don't be afraid to try new things and new places. Meet new people and take some risks.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
