Helping People

Day to Day

The human interaction. Each day I meet with people to discuss how they can make their work and personal life more effective. This is normally achieved through coaching, training, a water-cooler conversation, email, mobile or any other methods. My purpose is to provide the road sign that will help people choose the course of action they need to take to make the right decision for themselves.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for professionals

If you love people, the human interaction and sharing wonderful stories that people learn from, then training and development is possibly a career for you. You'll first need to understand the psychology of learning, how people develop and the process of analyzing, designing, delivering and evaluating training. Once you have this knowledge go and get some experience (easier said than done). This is important even if you do it for free, the experience is essential in developing your skills.
