Day to Day

Check fences; walk through the pastures monitoring amounts grazed; check growth and re-growth; exam manure piles for composition; string out portable polly wire electric fences used to move livestock to specific grazing areas. Measure soil temps; check weather forecasts periodically to adjust grazing plans; observe and evaluate overall condition of livestock.
