My Day to Day

I spend my days connecting colleges with employers to build pathways into high-demand careers. Whether I'm developing workforce tools like OC Works, organizing industry advisory groups, or supporting faculty and students, I’m always thinking about how education can meet people where they are and launch them forward.

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

    I earned degrees in philosophy and English, driven by a passion for understanding systems and storytelling.

    I learned video production at a local TV station which opened the door to my first role in education reform, as I joined a cross-country grant project, documenting school reform practices.

  • 3.

    I grew my skills in research, evaluation, and professional development, learning much of it on the job.

  • 4.

    I pivoted into workforce development, helping align community college programs with real industry needs.

  • 5.

    I helped build OC Works, a data-driven tool that connects students with local employers and growing careers.

  • 6.

    I championed microcredentials and credit for prior learning to make education more accessible and job-aligned.
