Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
I went to Newman University and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and masters of science and masters of art in chemistry.
I continued my graduate studies at Baylor College of Medicine, where I did two semesters of coursework before returning to Kansas and earning a master’s in biology from Wichita State University.
I started out at the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center as an entry level DNA analyst.
I spent most of my career analyzing evidence for biological materials, creating DNA profiles, and testifying in court.
I’ve since moved up and now work as the director of the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center.
In addition to my role as director of the Forensic Science Center, I also serve as the mayor of Mulvane, Kansas.
