My path in life has been direct
1.
I earned my licensed practical nursing certification at a community college in Minnesota and later became a registered nurse.
2.
I started my career as a nurse in a medical-surgical pediatrics unit.
3.
While working as a registered nurse, I returned to school to complete my bachelor’s degree and later earned a master’s in nursing.
4.
Transitioning to hospital work, I learned the true value of teamwork, with mentors who shared their expertise and guided my growth.
5.
As I took on committee roles, I felt the fulfillment of leading and supporting my peers, inspiring me to pursue leadership in nursing.
6.
My current role as chief nursing officer allows me to guide a team of talented clinicians while shaping strategy to align with our mission.
