Skills & Education

Advice for getting started

When I was younger, I didn't really know how to ask for help. I always felt embarrassed to do so. As I've gained experience, I've learned that it's okay to ask for help. When I went back to school as a single mom, asking for help is something I had to prioritize. I utilized all of the resources I could find to support my efforts to complete school as a single mom, which was key for my success so far.

Here's the path I took:

  • High School

  • Associate's Degree

    Communications Studies

    Austin Community College
