My road in life has been direct.
Robert Burck aka the "Naked Cowboy" had always been a dreamer and was the kid who did everything to the extreme.
His free-spirited outlook on life has led him to become an out-of-the-box entertainer in New York City.
Years ago, he was fascinated after reading a book about creating your own life and the idea that he could be whatever he wanted.
So, he decided to do something extravagant and played guitar in his underwear at Venice Beach in Los Angeles, Calif.
His impromptu show was a big hit, and since then he has created a brand and image of a singing, guitar-playing half-naked cowboy.
His popularity took him across the U.S. from California to New York City, where he started playing in Times Square every day.
Robert has since then appeared on television, music videos, and other popular media. He has been named by the New York State tourism department as "more recognizable than the Statute of Liberty."
Robert has a degree in political science from the University of Cincinnati and continues to entertain New Yorkers and tourists alike in Times Square.
