Inspired by my father's decades of public service, I built my career around civic engagement, community impact, and creating pathways for others.

I learned how public institutions can create opportunity and strengthen communities through my work with the City of Los Angeles.

Leading community and government relations for Time Warner Cable and UCLA expanded my ability to connect organizations with the people they serve.

During long commutes, I reflected on how difficult higher education can be for working adults and began searching for a better path.
