Life & Career Milestones
My path in life has been direct
1.
When my mom was paralyzed in a car accident, I saw how one grant transformed my family's life and inspired my passion for philanthropy.
2.
I earned my degree in social work and focused on policy and program evaluation because I wanted to create change on a broader scale.
3.
Early in my career, I said yes to every opportunity and was fortunate to have leaders who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.
4.
I built my career in public health and philanthropy, where I learned that meaningful impact starts with seeing people, not just programs.
5.
Joining Best Buy’s social impact initiatives gave me the chance to rethink how corporate philanthropy can create lasting economic opportunity for young people.
6.
Now I help invest in young people and communities so more people have the opportunity to thrive.
