My Day to Day

My days start with a stand-up, connecting with software engineers across the U.S. and Ireland. My focus is helping teams solve problems and build digital tools for K-12 students and teachers. I spend time mentoring developers, collaborating with designers and educators, and exploring how technology like AI can make learning more engaging and accessible.

Skills & Education

Here's the path I took:

  • High School

  • Bachelor's Degree

    Computer Science & Business Analysis

    Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology

Life & Career Milestones

I've taken a lot of twists and turns

  • 1.

Growing up in Ireland, I spent my free time fixing pinball machines, repairing bikes, and discovering how much I loved solving problems.

  • 2.

I took every job I could find as a teenager—from bartending to working ice cream trucks—and each one taught me how to connect with people.

  • 3.

After high school, I took a gap year, moved to New York, and worked in an insurance company’s computer room while figuring out if technology was truly my path.

  • 4.

I returned to Ireland for college and felt uncertain at first, but my professors helped me see that software could open doors far beyond coding.

  • 5.

My first software engineering job pulled me into every part of the business—even designing my own shoes!—which taught me to stay curious.

  • 6.

I also started my own fashion-tech company, which pushed me far outside my comfort zone, but taking that risk taught me to trust my ideas and instincts.

  • 7.

Today, I lead global teams creating educational technology that helps students learn in ways that feel engaging, supportive, and human.
