Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
I started my career uncertain and without clear direction, working as a lifeguard while exploring my future academic and professional options.
I pursued environmental science at Notre Dame, followed by dual master's degrees in environmental policy and environmental science at Indiana University.
I landed my first internship in environmental consulting during grad school, which solidified my career direction and passion for the field.
Transitioning from a field professional to project management, I dealt with complex environmental cleanup projects across the Midwest.
I became vice president of EnviroForensics, expanding my role to include operational management and strategic planning for environmental solutions.
I currently lead initiatives to convert environmental liabilities into assets while advocating for environmental justice.

Day to Day

I'm typically working with my team to help our clients deal with environmental contamination and liabilities. That could mean we're collecting samples, writing reports, or implementing a remediation work plan. No two days are alike and I'm constantly seeking creative ways to meet our client's needs.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

There are lots of different ways to get into environmental consulting. Many people major in geology or engineering in college. I didn't take that traditional path but have still been able to succeed.
