During my second year of college, I was attacked by a dog and lost use of my right hand for about a year. It was hard because I wasn't allowed to miss any time in my specific college program. I had to tape a rivet gun to my hand in order to finish.

Colorado Roadtrip

[MUSIC] I'm definitely most scared of not having a purpose in life, the sense of belonging too, it's a scary thought. &gt;&gt; I think we all are kind of curious what we wanna do with our lives, but I think it looks very different for all three of us. &gt;&gt; All the pressure does stem from the fear of failing. I think that failure for me would it be completing my degree and then not getting a job. &gt;&gt; I never wanna have a job that I'm like, yeah, I just work there. I wanna have a job that I'm proud of. &gt;&gt; I still wanna find that one thing that just, clicks for me. So far I really haven't. &gt;&gt; Following your passion. &gt;&gt; It's good to hear more honestly, like how do you find your passion? That might be the question for a lot of people. [MUSIC] &gt;&gt; We're about to go on a 17 day trip around Colorado talking to people about what they do with their lives. &gt;&gt; Learning about the growing industries in Colorado. &gt;&gt; Along the way, we're gonna be doing a lot of fun things. &gt;&gt; I'm also looking forward to see how other people have kind of made a life for themselves that you wouldn't expect or that was very unique. &gt;&gt; Go do what you want to do. If something makes you excited, just try it. &gt;&gt; For me, I spent a lot of my first year of college comparing my life to my peers' lives. If you start comparing, that's when you start putting yourself down. &gt;&gt; I've always been interested in IT, cuz I just love the idea of technology. But I love the outdoors, I just wanna see how I can do both. You mentioned before there's an IT department within this field, do you mind if you talk to me more about that? &gt;&gt; Meeting new people every single day. Learning about people's backgrounds and their perspectives. That's been my favorite thing so far. &gt;&gt; I would love to say I know exactly what I wanna I do, that's, probably not true at all. [LAUGH] &gt;&gt; It's crazy how one hour of somebody else's time can change your perspective on life. &gt;&gt; They all have different lessons and I think combining them is probably the most important part of the trip. &gt;&gt; And I kind of doubted myself on what I know, but during this trip I learned to be confident with what you do and what you make. &gt;&gt; I feel like this is something that's going to be important. I'm very excited. [MUSIC]
