Life & Career Milestones
My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
I studied music performance in college to become an oboist, but by graduation I realized performing classical music wasn’t the path for me.
2.
I added a public relations degree to my studies and spent a few years trying internships and odd jobs—I felt frustrated as I searched for work that felt meaningful to me.
3.
I found a nonprofit that used music to create social good, and working there helped me discover my passion for helping people and communities thrive.
4.
I went to business school at Emory University to build new skills and explore where my growing interest in impact could take me.
5.
I joined M&T Bank with no tech background and started a learning program to help the bank’s technologists build their skills.
6.
I moved into M&T Bank’s sustainability office, where I now lead social sustainability efforts for employees, customers, and communities.
