    Psychology, General

    Syracuse University

  • Graduate Degree

    Counseling Psychology

    Long Island University

Life & Career Milestones

My path in life has been direct

  • 1.

I moved from Jamaica to Brooklyn, New York, at 14, navigating culture shock while finding comfort in a vibrant Jamaican community.

  • 2.

In college, I studied psychology at Syracuse and began working in mental health.

  • 3.

Burnout from emotionally taxing work led me to pivot into workforce development, where I could still make a meaningful impact.

  • 4.

At a previous job, I realized how vital continued career coaching was after graduation, which inspired me to become a career coach myself.

  • 5.

Joining Per Scholas, I found purpose in helping learners see the value of their past experiences and transfer them into tech careers.
