Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

I grew up between Chicago and Nigeria, which showed me how differently opportunity is distributed and sparked my desire to promote education access.

  • 2.

Watching my younger sister navigate epilepsy taught me how easily systems can overlook people who deserve support and visibility—I knew I needed to help make a difference for them.

  • 3.

In high school, I believed becoming a pediatric neurosurgeon was the only way I could create meaningful change in the world.

  • 4.

After shadowing doctors in college, I realized I wanted to impact systems and communities, not just work one-on-one with patients.

  • 5.

I spent a summer teaching at an international school in China, opening my eyes to the power of building opportunities from the ground up.

  • 6.

I returned to Chicago and launched a college admissions company to help students discover pathways they never knew were possible.

  • 7.

I helped build low-cost schools in Nigeria and saw education become a stable source of hope and belonging for entire communities.

  • 8.

Today, I work in philanthropy connecting communities, partners, and resources so more people can access the support they need to thrive.
