Milestones
My road in life took a while to figure out.
Throughout my career, I had gained experience in the restaurant industry.
I ultimately built my career as a hairstylist, which I did for 15 years.
For nine of those years, I owned my own salon and specialized in hair coloring.
I closed my salon during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked in billing for a COVID testing lab.
I then moved back into the restaurant industry as a recruiter, which is what I’m currently doing now.

I am currently recruiting and interviewing for positions for three concepts, two of which are opening their doors shortly. I work with Workstream platform and screen applicants. I aim to find passionate candidates that we can teach skills to.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for everyone
I recommend gaining as much work experience in the specific industry you're interested in. For example, I'm a recruiter for the restaurant industry. If someone was interested in a similar position, I'd recommend gaining restaurant experience so that you have that first-hand knowledge about what it takes to work in or run a restaurant.
