My path in life has been direct

I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland.

I enrolled at Morgan State University, an HBCU, and graduated with a degree in accounting.
3.
My career began in accounting, and later led me to community relations and engagement roles.
4.
I transitioned into philanthropy, which ignited my passion for empowering others through education.
5.
I joined Strada Education Foundation as senior vice president, focusing on higher education initiatives.
6.
The tragic events surrounding George Floyd and Breonna Taylor inspired me to lead Strada's HBCU Initiative.
7.
I now lead the HBCU Initiative, partnering with 49 HBCUs to develop the next generation of leaders.
