My path in life has been direct
1.
I started teaching at my old high school—I walked to school every day, learned humility, and built relationships with inspiring educators.
2.
While volunteering in New Orleans, I helped rebuild homes after Hurricane Katrina and discovered the power of hands-on learning and community connection.
3.
I transitioned to a nonprofit, leading teams of volunteers and realizing how meaningful project-based, real-world education could be.
4.
I pursued my master’s degree at High Tech High, immersing myself in project-based learning and shaping my vision for the future of education.
5.
In a makerspace, I taught kids creativity through robotics, circuits, and hands-on projects, sparking joy and curiosity in learning.
6.
I co-founded Be Loud to amplify children’s confidence and create spaces where their voices and creativity could thrive.
7.
Starting with a summer camp, Be Loud grew into a movement with community programs focused on mentorship and self-expression.
8.
Over time, I learned to prioritize sustainability by evolving from hustling solo to building partnerships and mentoring a team that shares my vision.
