Messages from Family:
Accounting is so boring, and you can't be an auditor if you want to have a family!
How I responded:
Accounting and auditing is what you make of it and the mindset you allow yourself to be in. Something that appears to be boring to another person may be really interesting to someone else. As for having a family, I think it depends on the type of firm you work for. Many firms are providing exceptional benefits in terms of starting and having a family. You can also request to travel less if the need to arises or utilize flexible work arrangements.
