About Kevin

• Both my father and brother were podiatrists, so I always assumed I would go into podiatry as well.
• I graduated college with a degree in psychology and then went on to medical school for podiatry.
• After medical school, I was awarded a residency but ultimately decided not to continue.
• I had been doing carpentry on the side and started my own company, Brenner Builders—it started with me as the plumber, electrician, and carpenter, and then grew into a successful 60-person company.
• I eventually started testing the houses we worked on to see how they’d perform for energy consumption and realized that this could be a whole new business model.
• From there, I created Healthy Home Energy & Consulting.
• I managed both companies for a while but eventually closed Brenner Builders because my values no longer aligned with my clients’.
• I’ve since been solely focused on Healthy Home Energy & Consulting, where we aim to improve the health and comfort of people’s homes while also saving the planet.
