I am a researcher and scholar who studies equity in higher education.
On a typical day, I do education research on equity issues in higher education and the transition from high school to college.

Research method courses in psychology were useful to prepare her for grad school. She learned how to be a good stats professor by taking example of her own professors in college.
Hugely humbled in realizing that there were many opportunities that led her to pursue her career and through hard work.
Being able to help somebody understand problems, by doing her job correctly, and they are on board, it is an accomplishment.
