My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
I went into foster care when I was 11, but at 17 my older sister got legal custody over me.
2.
My friend's father motivated me to go to Cal State University, Northridge after visiting him while he was working.
3.
I met her husband and decided to go to Cal State University, Fullerton in order to be closer to him.
4.
After college, I worked at the Hilton and a bookstore and later enrolled in a teaching credential program.
5.
I started working as a first grade teacher at Barton Elementary.
