My path in life has been direct
1.
I was born in Liberia and moved to Indiana when I was 10 years old.
2.
After moving to Indiana, I joined a radiography program, inspired by my mother’s practical advice to pursue a career in healthcare.
3.
I earned an associate’s degree in radiography and went on to complete a bachelor’s in radiation therapy, working with cutting-edge technology to treat cancer patients.
4.
While working as a radiation therapist, I discovered my passion for technology and transitioned into clinical informatics to merge healthcare and tech solutions.
5.
I pursued a master’s degree in health policy and management, specializing in informatics, which prepared me to connect technology, policy, and patient care.
6.
At Indiana University Health, I led the implementation of electronic medical records, revolutionizing workflows across departments and enhancing patient care.
7.
My curiosity and persistence guided me into leadership, where I honed a flexible management style to meet the needs of diverse teams.
8.
Today, I mentor women in STEM, advocate for equity, and lead with authenticity, proving that challenges can pave the way for meaningful impact.
