Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
Considers his current profession a "very important stop" on his road, but not necessarily his final destination.
When he was growing up in the Soviet Union, his parents, who were both architects, pressured him to follow in their footsteps.
He says he "hated what they did and hated their guts" when he was growing up, but now he's grateful for his education in the arts.
Ran away to join the theater; pushed his schooling to the back burner until he realized it'd be beneficial to get his master's degree.
Believes that "everything is diffusion"-you can always find a place where all of your interests come together.
Says you just have to create your own "alchemy" that combines all of the compatible elements of your personality.
He considers disappointment a positive thing; says you can only achieve something better once you've been disappointed with your work.
Whenever he starts to lose passion for his work, or it gets too repetitive, he moves on to the next job.
