Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
Got his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where he majored in information systems.
After graduating, he worked for AIG analyzing risk data and correlations to create insurance rates.
Inspired by friends in the technology and entertainment industries who had trouble navigating complicated trademark and copyright laws, he decided to pursue his law degree.
Unfortunately, when he graduated from law school in 2008, it was right in the middle of the economic crisis, and he struggled to find a job in the area of law he was interested in.
He ended up spending two years working as a prosecutor working on misdemeanor cases—he credits this experience with making him comfortable and confident in speaking to people.
On a trip through Central America with his brothers, they fell in love with the paletas—popsicle carts—and thought it would be great to have one of their own.
Shortly thereafter, one of his brothers lost his job due to the Great Recession, so he decided to quit law and help him start up a popsicle cart business.
They now manufacture popsicles inspired by the flavors of the South, exclusively using fresh ingredients sourced from sustainable growers—some even from their own farm!
