Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
At age 15, he won an award that sent him to travel all over the world.
He thought he'd found his life's work: he'd travel, learn new languages, then work at the United Nations.
Happily, he says, he didn't take that set, comfortable path; instead, he "stumbled" and had "an enriching and confusing bundle of experiences."
He says his unique struggles are what prepared him to create new institutions that would affect change and make a difference.
Says that it's in being off-balance that you truly see, so you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
On the other hand, he also stresses that it's important to set aside time for meditation and self-reflection.
His greatest regrets are not spending more time with his family and not giving himself more time for quiet reflection.
He says that you have to reconcile how to push yourself, but also give yourself enough time for "true rest."
Keep following my journey
