Things are worth fighting for in life…and it's always overcoming a barrier of some kind. And whatever form that barrier takes, we all have a decision to make.

Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
Says when he first started racing, he didn't know he wanted to do it with his life, just liked it, was good at it.
Believes that if you find what you're good at, you'll enjoy it more; the passion and talent feed off each other.
Says people who take their talent for granted often don't work hard enough, don't do as well; says you have to put the work in no matter what.
Took a psychology course in college that wouldn't accommodate him, told him he'd have to climb a flight of stairs to take the class.
Made the effort to get up those stairs; says getting up the stairs taught him more than the actual psychology course.
Went on to climb the 1,776 stairs of the CN Tower in Ontario, Canada.
Says he learns more from races he loses-even the worst loss of his life wasn't so bad, taught him a good lesson.
Thinks that the process of suffering and overcoming after a loss should be valued as much as-if not more than-a win.
