Roadtrip Nation is partnering up with Tourism New Zealand, and will be sending teams of two to three people down to the youngest island in late summer of 2008.
The purpose of these roadtrips is to interview inspiring people in all professions from a culture other than your own. The interviewees will be sharing their stories of how they got to where they are today and we hope this will help you define your own road in life. This trip to New Zealand will be an indie trip, meaning from cold calling to filming and sharing your experience; you and your teammates will do it all. You must apply as a team of at least two and maximum three. This application process will include two rounds, the first round consisting of some basic question and answers. For those who are accepted into the second round, we will ask you to submit a basic video introducing your team, a proposed schedule, and some proposed leaders to interview in New Zealand. In the end, the most deserving teams will be chosen to hit the road for an exciting experience of a lifetime. These final teams will be in charge of booking their interviews, planning the trip, filming and blogging about the experience. Of course all of this will be done with the help of your friendly roadtrip nation staff, we will be training you in all the areas needed for a successful trip before you head out for your trip. The Deadline for Round 1 has been extended to May 21st, 2008! If you apply before the deadline, or have already applied, you have the opportunity to begin your Round 2 application if accepted.
