Ever since we were you, we’ve thrived on family road trips. We could barely tolerate each other in the comforts of our own home, but when we all squeezed in the back of dad’s Corolla somehow the excitement of the road ahead united us and we knew that we were on this mission together. Now we’ve all grown up: I finished school five years ago and moved to New York, where I work as a documentary filmmaker. Those years on the road, seeking adventure, have seemingly made a deeper impact on me than I could have ever imagined at the time.

I am constantly in search of the unknown, the inspiring, and the intriguing. Brent, the middle brother, is now a high school Literature teacher. His daily bread is to inspire today’s youth to seek out new experiences and to learn from the experience of others. Eric, the youngest, has graduated college and for him the roadtrip is just beginning. The three of us wanted to take this trip together because we felt we have something unique to contribute to the project. Be it our different perspectives that come from our varied ages and places in life, or our unique professional interests – it is our shared experiences as a family that will bring a cohesive and binding element to the project. We were incredibly inspired by those we met along the way.
