In April of 2008, both of us graduated college with very open futures. This roadtrip not only gave us a chance to have one last adventure, but to have this adventure with a purpose. Through our experience and interviews on the trip, we are able to urge others in similar positions to find and follow their own callings, whatever that may be. We were incredibly excited to see the green RV parked on our campus, having watched the show and feeling inspired by the journeys previous roadtrippers had. It is also particularly interesting that this trip took place outside the United States, in New Zealand, a country that neither of us had ever visited. The cultural difference that we no doubt encountered showed us possible routes in our lives that we had never considered. And that in itself was enough to make us want to head to New Zealand.
