BIOGRAPHY:
Ross R. Rossin was born in Bulgaria during the communist times where at the age of 6 he was already painting. Ross said he knew from "day one" that all he wanted to do was paint. His passion and perseverance in his dream paid off: In his teens, Ross went to a prestigious fine arts school where by the age of 19 he was accepted into the Bulgarian Association of Artists, a prestigious circle where members are typically accepted in their 30s. Afterward, Ross spent five years working in Japan and created many portraits of successful businessmen and politicians—building his name and portfolio. In 2001, he moved to the United States with his family where he has created more than 250 portraits in the past seven years of notable individuals, including Former President George Bush, the president of Coca-Cola, Jackie Kennedy, and Nelson Mandela. Ross says that his biggest challenge now is to reinvent himself and to come up with something new.
