BIOGRAPHY:
After working as accountants, Geoff and Nicola Wright decided to strike out on their own and become vintners, or wine-makers. Established in 2000, Wrights Wines produced New Zealand's first certified organic and vegan wines. Winemaking does, however, run in the family. In 1931, Geoff's great-grandfather was a winemaker, as well, producing wines in the Kumeu Valley, near Auckland. The Wrights pride themselves on working from their land and producing quality wines.
