BIOGRAPHY:
Growing up, Andrew Lins saw two paths for himself, but little did he know he would end up in a field far off of what he envisioned. "When I was your age, I was thinking of two careers. One was medicine, and one was art." In an effort to appease his parents, he chose the medical field. He took a job as an orderly, and stuck with that for a while. "Then I had a bad car accident; I drove a car over a bridge. That took a little while to get over. I reconsidered what were the most important things, and what would give me the best feeling of having done something with my life that I had always wanted to. I really always had loved art, so I spent several years doing art after that." From there one of his art professors suggested that he check out conservation art, which is a form of art combined with science. Fascinated with the idea, Andrew took a chance at it and has been doing it ever since.
