Bring Roadtrip Nation into the Classroom

Roadtrip Nation Education holds its first Design Lab!

April 21, 2011

We had a blast at our first Design Lab with middle school students, parents, and teachers on Thursday, April 21. The purpose of our Design Lab was to bring together those who are crucial in helping us better our programs and resources at RoadtripNation.org and hear their thoughts and inputs.

We love when we can bring in the people that are going through The Roadtrip Nation Experience curriculum and build personal relationships with them. Our visitors met the crew here like the designers, editors, and web and partnership teams that put so much hard work into The Roadtrip Nation Experience. We also showed the Roadtrip Nation history video, and then two of our founders, Nate and Brian, welcomed everyone and shared a bit of their story.

After that we split off into a teacher/parent group and a student group and got into our creative space. We discussed what content they find engaging, thoughts on the videos, what design is most appealing, and anything else we could think of that will help us evolve and refine The Roadtrip Nation Experience.

All of the students, parents, and teachers had great feedback for us! We wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone that came out!
