Chad Butler and Jon Foreman formed their band Switchfoot (named for a surfing term) and began touring when they were still in college. Soon they were taking entire semesters off to tour. Finally, they came to the realization that they wanted to pursue music full time. Seven albums later, they are award-winning musicians. Their album, “The Beautiful Letdown,” sold over 2.6 million copies. In addition to their music, Chad and Jon are active in different humanitarian causes, including Invisible Children.
