Kate always knew she wanted to write and worked her way up from an editorial assistant position, to feature writer, to editor-in-chief of one of the biggest magazines in the United States. Her career, though, was less than settled when she was in college – at one point, Kate thought of becoming a flight attendant. Luckily for Kate, her perseverance, drive, and focus to work as a writer helped her work toward her goal of becoming a magazine writer.
