I like the fact that she stood up to her parents and decide that she needs to go her own way. It is the hardest thing to stand up to your parents for dreams when they have everything planned out your future. Everyone that has a dream should try to reach for it and just like to explore the world. It is never too late to pursue your dream and explore.

Despite the pressure from her parents she went out and did what she wanted to do. I can relate to that because my dad has expectations for me and what I want for myself is nothing to what he wants. That has inspired me to just do what\'s in my heart. Because like she said, if she didn\'t follow her, heart she\'s going to feel sick inside.
Title
It was great to hear her say that whatever \"strikes\" her she will try to explore, that statement stands out to me because it shows that she doesn\'t care about how difficult it might be she\'s doing it because it interests her and that\'s all that matters.
....
well i really liked how she followed what she wanted to do and not what her parents wanted her to do... and this really touched me because i feel so pressured with what my parents want me to do with my future and career, and i like how she didnt let age stop her from exploring new things. it doesnt matter how old someone can be, all you need is faith and encouragement... dont let age define who you are.

Elaine exudes the meaning of an ageless person. Beyond not listening to the nay-sayers regaurding what she wanted to do she also didn\'t let her age limit her. \"Redefine\" is a key word she said which touched me because she is right don\'t let society and people limit what you want to do. Create your own legacy, set the bar for yourself so one can eventually out shine you.
True Story
The way she emphazised having to follow your heart, even if it may upset people around you, really spoke to me. Yes, she could have moved on following the path her parents had laid out for her, but she would not have been happy. So hearing her story about laying out her own path and doing something she loves to do is just awesome.
Follow your heart.
I like how she said that to follow your heart because she actually found her own path by getting out of her comfort zone and doing her own thing, physically distant away from her family. She pursue on the thing that she loves, playing music. Furthermore, I like how she went on for more things in life and how she said that it is not too late to do new things like how she started tae kwon do and shao lin kung fu.
